Cetăţuia de pe Strajă is a very important defense construction of medieval Brasov. It is located out of the territory of Brasov Fortification. At the beginning of the 15th century there was only a watch tower that was completed by a bastion with four towers in 1524. During its existence, the construction served as a depository, prison and city archives. Today, the building is renovated and is used as a touristic landmark with medieval significance.
